A solid jig minnow allowing diverse approach
The Ikakko is a heavy weight solid jig minnow molded in the shape of a squid. The carrying distance and sinking speed rivals a jig, and its spoon-like swimming action allows horizontal as well as vertical approaches to fishing: one can simply reel in or let it sink and jerk it up. It is a versatile lure, productive for the Black-Rockfish, Barracuda and Horse Mackerel. Unlike metal lures, the Ikakko has a natural-looking transparency that many anglers also find attractive.
