The Gosen W8 Casting braid has been created for Surf Casting, Spinning, Eging, Light Rock Fishing and in general anywhere where you cast lures, predominantly on the surface such as popping, stick baiting and plugging.

There is special treatment applied by Gosen to the Casting braid, that keeps the water out, makes the knot string a lot better and when you cast, you will not see any water spraying from the reel’s spool, making the braid heavier and allowing loops to come off, resulting in loss of casting distance and tangles.

Gosen W is a high-quality PE line, and thanks to the 4S process, it achieves the optimum balance of softness, stiffness, sensitivity and strength to suit various fishing styles. The 4S process relies on a special technology that enables Gosen to also achieve the best balance between various fishing styles that require casting and proper line tension. This helps to reduce line slackness and assists in eliminating casting problems.
